Stray No More, Inc., is a 501c3, not-for-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the number of animals euthanized in Palm Beach County through our Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program, P.E.T.S. Clubs in area schools, Education and Adoption of rescued stray animals. It was co-founded in July 1994 in an effort to rescue 50 dogs that were abandoned after Hurricane Andrew struck South Florida (Homestead & Miami).
Stray No More is run completely by volunteers, 99% of those volunteers work full time jobs. Donated money is tax deductible and 100% goes to benefit the animals, not people! We do not have a shelter and the rescued animals are provided with the best medical treatment possible, fostered in loving homes and eventually adopted to their “FOREVER” home.
We conduct extensive interviews and home visits before any animal can be adopted. Our adoption fee for dogs is $85.00, and $65.00 for cats which includes the Spay/Neuter, vaccinations, tests, worming, heartworm and flea prevention while in foster care and the microchip and registration! The average cost to rescue an animal is $150.00 but special cases can range from $500 to $2500!
Stray No More, Inc. owes its success to GOD, dedicated volunteers, foster parents, donors, adoptive parents, and the Foundations that have provided generous grants that keep our programs running. I hope that if you believe in our mission, that you will consider making a charitable donation and help us continue to help those less fortunate.
